Set up, in this order
Section titled “Set up, in this order”- Your organization. Open Configure → Organization. Settings made here apply to every site, and a site can override one unless you lock it.
- Your sites. Open Operate → Sites and choose Add a site. Set where it is on the map, so check-ins and muster know who is on it.
- Permit types. Open Configure → Protocols → Permit types. Nothing can be raised until at least one type exists. Each type says who must agree, approve and issue it, and what has to be true before it goes live.
- Your people. Open People → Members and choose Add a person. Someone new gets an email to set a password; a field worker with no email goes on your roster and signs in later.
- Your rules. Open Comply → Requirements to set the certificates, inductions and documents people and vendors need before they can work.
- Your vendors. Open Vendors → Organizations and choose Invite a vendor. Name the site and the work; the vendor gets an email and works through your checklist. See Joining as a vendor for what they see.
Read Permits to work for how a permit moves from draft to closed.
